This is a pre-owned Audemars Piguet Royal Oak perpetual calendar tuscan dial 1st series men's watch reference 25654BA.OO.0944BA.02. It has a 39.00mm case size in yellow gold, with blue "tuscan" baton dial on a yellow gold bracelet, powered by an automatic movement. This Audemars Piguet is in excellent condition complete with Audemars Piguet Winder Box, Manuals, Guarantee & Extract dated 12th June 1996. Our reference is W007752 should you need to quote this.
Offered here is a truly beautiful example of the much-appreciated 18k Yellow Gold 39mm AP Royal Oak. The reference 25654BA.00.0944BA has 4 subsidiary dials at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock, these are for the date, day, month of the year, the aperture at 6 o’clock is for the moon phase.
It was Gerald Genta who brought us this genius design in the early 70s, giving Audemars Piguet one of the most iconic and innovative watch designs ever made which became and still is the manufacturers best-seller.
In 1981 the brand developed the perpetual calendar and cased it in the Royal Oak in 1984 with the 5554 shortly developing into the 25554.
The Royal Oak we are offering here is the reference 25654BA produced between 1982-1993 and sold between 1983-1998. Only 800 pieces were made in total during that period of which 422 were in yellow gold featured with a variety of dials.

This example of the Royal Oak 25654BA.00.0944BA.02 is in beautiful condition and has been adored by its previous owner. The Tuscan blue dial and gilt baton markers and hands are in very good condition. The bracelet is in excellent condition showing only minimal stretch and is free from any significant scratches or wear. The gold polished and brushed finishes to the bezel ring along with the sapphire glass are free of any dings or scratches and further enhance the overall appearance of this stunning 39mm Tuscan Dial Royal Oak.
